Product Description
LubeMax GearLube 80W-90 is a multipurpose, API GL-5automotive gearlubricant specifically designed for use inpassenger car and truck axles with hypoid gear sets. It also isrecommended for use in some heavy-duty manualtransmissions in trucks and buses.
Our Gear Lube is formulated to provide long service life andextended gear life in automotive differentials operating undervarying conditions of speed, load, temperature and torque. Thecarefully balanced formulation is designed to minimize oxidativesludge and varnish formation, reduce wear, prevent scoringdamage, and protect against metal fatigue and spalling damageunder shockload conditions.
Application
- Service fill of conventional differentials in passenger cars andtrucks
- Top-off only of limited-slip differentials in passenger cars andlight trucks.
- Service fill of differentials, final drives and transfer cases insome off-highway equipment
- Non-synchronized manual transmissions in trucks, buses and heavy equipment where the manufacturer specifies an APIGL-5 or MT-1 gear oil
