Shell Diala S2 ZU-I is an uninhibited dielectric insulating oil formulated with highly refined mineral bases. It offers good dielectric properties, good oxidation stability and ensures efficient heat exchange. It has an excellent behavior at low temperatures and is dried to obtain a dielectric resistance higher than that required by industrial standards. Shell Diala S2 ZU-I Dried meets both existing and newly introduced industrial copper corrosion tests

- Long life of the oil Shell Diala S2 ZU-I Dried offers a natural resistance to oxidative degradation of the oil.
- System efficiency – the good properties of low temperature oil ensure a correct heat exchange inside the transformer, even at low operating temperatures. Shell Diala S2 ZU-I Dried is suitably dried and managed to obtain a low moisture content and guarantee a high-level dielectric strength upon delivery. This allows its use in many applications without further treatment.
- Protection of the transformer Shell Diala S2 ZU-I Dried is non-corrosive towards copper, without the need for any passivator. Shell Diala S2 ZU-I Dried meets all the main corrosion tests on copper, in particular the consolidated DIN 51353 (Silver Strip Test) and ASTM D1275, as well as the most severe last tests: IEC 62535 and ASTM D1275B.
