Product Description
Castrol Duratec LD is formulated with modern Gas Engine additives and Synthetic Technology base oils to delay oil degradation to extend oil drain intervals. Castrol Duratec LD is designed for use in stationary gas engines that are running at higher pressures to deliver greater efficiency and to reduce emissions. This higher Brake Mean Effective Pressure (BMEP) means higher engine temperatures, leading to faster oil degradation. Shortened oil drain intervals can lead to an increase risk in engine component failure.
